hardware problem

Never brought any Microsoft product....just because 1 of my friend just brought a mouse from yesterday and the mouse is really looks nice and having a good design but the hardware sucks...because the product is new and never open before but once we arrive home then we started to test the new mouse but we found out the mouse is spoiled and can't be using anymore and we gonna send back to warranty but we can't claim back the warranty because the serial number sticker at the boxed was tear off and gone already.....so can't claim back and the mouse cost about $55 USD at malaysia the cost was $198 so we just loss $198 bucks for the product...stupid microsoft product but the software is ok..
